Kihei Boat Ramp Snorkeling Information

Located at the south end of Kihei the boat ramp offers decent snorkeling when the surf is calm. The area is never crowded. this is a good place to spot turtles and an occasional reef shark.

Directions: Head south on S. Kihei Road past Kamaole beach 3. Look for Kihei boat Ramp sign and parking.

Parking: Lower parking area for boats. Park in the lot above or to the right.

Rest rooms: Located at the office.

Where to snorkel: To the right of the ramp is a sandy beach. Enter and follow the reef to the right. Swim further out to find turtles.

What to look for: We saw Tang, Moorish Idol, Wrasse, and other reef fish. Nice coral reef where we found an octopus.

Other Info: Not much else to do here but snorkel. There are some tours to Molokini Crater and Turtle Town that Depart from here.
