Launiupoko State Wayside Park, located 2 miles south of Lahaina, is a beautiful grass park with trees, picnic tables and bbqs. There is a small beach for swimming and other water activities, with a sandy natural wading pool for small kids. This is pretty beach great for families, surfing, hiking, swimming and relaxing. Luanipoko Park a popular beach with locals as tourists tend to migrate further to Ka'anapali and Kapalua Bay.

  Head north on Highway 30 from Kihei. Just past mile marker 18 turn left at the street light.

• Medium lot with overflow across the Highway. Quiet during the weekday but can get very crowded weekends.

  swimming, hiking, surfing, picnicking and families.
