Puamana Beach

Puamana Beach is located just south of Lahaina on Highway 30. The beach has a rocky shoreline and is not well suited for swimming and snorkeling. It is one of the best surfing areas on the island. The beach is mainly used by beginners and longboarders since the waves are usually not too big (summer months can bring large swells) and easy to catch. Some of the surf lesson companies use this beach because it is less crowded than Cove Beach in the south. There are a few trees, bbqs and picnic tables .
