Ka'anapali / Black Rock

Ka'anapali / Black Rock is the most popular beach in Maui. This long pristine sandy shoreline attracts beach goers from everywhere on the island. The area at the north tip is known as Black Rock. This is an excellent snorkel spot for all ages. You will see fish within 5 feet of entering the water. Be careful to avoid the area next to the cliffs, as this is a popular cliff diving spot. Like Kapalua Beach, public access parking is limited and fills up quickly. You can pay for parking at the shopping area (They do validate if you purchase something).

  Head northwest on HI-30 E, Turn left Kaanapali Parkway and look for Beach Access Public Parking.
