DT Fleming Beach named after the the man who introduced pineapple to West Maui, is located on the west shore north of the resorts. The park is great for families as it has rest rooms, picnic tables, bbqs, play area, and a lifeguard. DT Fleming Beach is a very popular family and locals beach. There is plenty of parking, but can still get crowded. This a popular spot for surfers and boogie boarders. Afternoon winds can bring big waves, and strong currents with rip tides, so be careful. There isn't much to see for snorkelers as the surf is usually to rough.

  Take highway 30 north look for the DT Fleming beach sign and turn left (Lower Honoapiilani Rd.)
• Parking
  3 parking lots ( 2 paved and 1 dirt overflow). Plenty of parking any time of the day.
• Restrooms
  Restrooms with showers and running water.
• Best For
  Family gatherings, bbqs, sun bathing and surfing.
