Waimoku FallsOnce you made made it to Hana, you can keep traveling 12 more miles to Oheo Gulch. the road is even more narrow (hard do believe) so drive slow. You will see the park entrance to the left . This is actually part of the Haleakala National Park so if you have your pass from seeing the sunrise, you can use it again.

At the park entrance you can get maps to the hiking trails and use the rest rooms. Follow the marked trail to The pools, or to the other hiking trails. Get here early to avoid the massive amount of tourists arriving on buses by 11.00am. This will also give you plenty of time to hike up through a bamboo forest on the way to Waimoku Falls (400 ft.. waterfall). Wear good shoes as the trail can get muddy at times.
