Ma'alaea Harbor is located Central Maui about 7 miles North of Kihei on Highway 30. The harbor is home to many residents who either live on their boats or the condos near by.
Many of the Islands ocean activities and tours originate from the harbor. One of the most popular is the Sunset Dinner Cruise which takes you around the bay while serving a nice dinner with beautiful views and spectacular sunset. It is also home to the Maui Ocean Center and many shops and restaurants.
The beaches around the harbor are mostly undeveloped offering plenty of sand and solitude.
