Day 7 Makawao
Saturday we were suppose to do an outrigger snorkel tour. After bruising my ribs surfing, we all decided it was a good day to relax. We did go to Wailea Beach to snorkel and boogie board. The water was murky with no fish, and the water was calm. We decided to drive to the up country and visit Makawao. We spent the afternoon in the pool at the condo and down to Charley Young beach for the sunset.
Wailea Beach
The popular Wailea beach is located behind the Grand Wailea in south Maui. This is usually a good beach but not today. The water was murky and there were very little waves to boogie board. we gave up after 30 minutes and came up with another plan Slide Show
Makawao
Makawao, located in Up Country Maui had just finished their parade in the rain when we got there. after inching through the traffic we parked on Baldwin Ave. Cameron and Jan window shopped and visited a museum. We had lunch a Pollys Mexican before heading back to Kihei. Slide Show
